On view Oct. 24 - Nov. 6
Barry Arts and Hixon Studio Buildings, 4600 Monarch Way
The °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Art Department is thrilled to present the return of FRIGHT NIGHT, the fourth annual Halloween-themed art exhibition featuring artwork and performances from Art Department classes, and performances from °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Music and Theatre students. Visitors are invited to explore the bone-chilling drawings, paintings, sculptures, posters, installations, and projections filling all three floors of the Barry Arts Building and both floors of the Hixon Studio Buildings. Additionally, there will be live demonstrations from the Perry Glass Studio, a costume contest run by our student clubs, a Monster Market, and t-shirt printing. This annual immersive exhibition includes artworks inspired by personal nightmares, spooky imagery, and holiday kitsch.
An opening reception will be held on Friday Oct. 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. All are welcome to this free community event to view the artwork, eat candy, play games, purchase art, see demons, print t-shirts, and enjoy the live performances. Come wearing your creepiest costumes and be frightened by the talent of °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ students!
