To kick off Black History Month on Feb. 1, °ΌΝΉΚΣơ’s Office of Intercultural Relations and °ΌΝΉΚΣΖ΅ Athletics hosted β€œCurators of Change,” a panel discussion on African American culture within the sports world. Participants at the event in the Big Blue Room at the Ted Constant Convocation Center included Antoine Bethea, former NFL player from Newport News; Demel Bolden, student-athlete welfare marketing coordinator at °ΌΝΉΚΣΖ΅; men’s basketball player Imo Essien; Bruce Stewart, deputy athletic director and chief operating officer of °ΌΝΉΚΣΖ΅ Athletics;  and Dominick Fink, former NFL cheerleader and current coach of the °ΌΝΉΚΣΖ΅ Dynasty Dance team.
