Officials from °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ and Chartway Credit Union held a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the Ted Constant Convocation Center on Thursday to mark a 10-year marketing and branding agreement.
As part of the $4.25 million accord, the interior of the 8,400-seat arena in Constant Center is now named Chartway Arena. Chartway will also become the official credit union of °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Athletics.
Nearly three dozen individuals representing the institutions attended the event. °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ President John R. Broderick, Chartway Chairman George Sauer and Chartway Federal Credit Union President/CEO Brian Schools, along with °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ basketball coaches Jeff Jones and Nikki McCray, were among those who participated in the ceremony. Matt Drexler, director of events for Chartway Arena, conducted a tour of the arena.
