Our ͹Ƶ school counseling community turned OUT for VSCA 2025- our state conference located in Hampton. We presented conference sessions, volunteered, and connected with old and new Monarchs. Our current graduate students were busy: attended the Career Cafe, where they networked with hiring school district leaders; presented on a panel “So You Want to Get a PhD?”; and presented at the conference’s first-annual “Smackdown.” In this high energy session, we each presented a quick tool, strategy, or resource- to a ballroom full of practicing school counselors. And had a great time doing it! VSCA- we can’t wait for next year!!
